Treatment Eligibility and Considerations
At AesGo Mobile Aesthetics, your safety and well-being are our highest priorities. To ensure the best outcomes and minimize risks, we are unable to provide treatments to individuals who meet any of the following criteria:
Strict Medical Contraindications
-
Age Requirement: All clients must be 18 years of age or older.
-
Pregnancy & Nursing: We do not treat individuals who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
-
Recent Surgeries: Individuals who have undergone facial surgery within the past 12 months.
-
Serious Medical History: Those currently undergoing chemotherapy, or who have completed it within the last six months.
-
Autoimmune Protocols: Clients on autoimmune medication must have discontinued use at least six months prior to treatment and provide a formal doctor’s note for clearance.
Health & Infection Control
-
General Illness: If you are feeling unwell (flu, cold, or virus) on the day of your appointment, we must reschedule to ensure your safety.
-
Vaccination Timeline: Treatments cannot be performed within two weeks before or three weeks after a COVID-19 or Flu vaccination.
-
Infections & Antibiotics: We cannot treat clients who have taken antibiotics for a facial or oral infection within the past 14 days.
-
Active Outbreaks: Clients with active cold sores or oral herpes on the day of treatment will be rescheduled.
Skin Health & Preparation
-
Topical Constraints: Use of steroids, chemical peels, or retinol must be discontinued at least two weeks prior to your appointment.
-
Active Conditions: We cannot treat areas affected by severe active acne or other localized skin irritations.
Note on Suitability: AesGo reserves the right to decline treatment if a client is deemed medically unsuitable or not yet ready for the procedure.
Important Considerations Before Booking
-
The Aesthetic Journey: Achieving your desired look is often a process rather than a single event. While the initial phase may require a higher financial commitment, maintaining your results is typically more cost-effective.
-
Maintenance: Dermal fillers are temporary. To sustain your results, plan for maintenance appointments once or twice a year.
-
Commitment: Please ensure you are fully committed to the aftercare and maintenance schedule before beginning your treatment plan.
Client Responsibility & Disclosure
While AesGo Mobile Aesthetics is fully insured, the safety of your treatment relies on transparency.
-
Full Disclosure: It is imperative that you disclose your complete medical history during your consultation.
-
Liability: AesGo cannot be held liable for adverse effects resulting from withheld or undisclosed medical information.
Post-Treatment & Emergency Protocols
Potential Reactions: While rare, side effects or allergic reactions can occur. We are here to support you through your recovery.
-
Emergency Situations: If you experience severe health concerns or feel significantly unwell immediately following treatment, dial 999 for emergency services.
-
Urgent Care: If you cannot reach your AesGo practitioner for urgent concerns, please visit your GP or the nearest Accident & Emergency (A&E) department.
