Botulinum Toxin (Botox) Consultation – AesGo Aesthetics
Why a Consultation Matters
Consultation is essential to ensure Botox is safe, effective, and tailored to you. We review your goals, medical history, and suitability before treatment.
From June 2025, new regulations mean all anti-wrinkle treatments require a face-to-face consultation with our prescriber. This guarantees the highest levels of safety, compliance, and personalised care.
What to Expect
Medical Review
We’ll discuss your medical history, allergies, medications, and suitability (Botox is not recommended if pregnant or breastfeeding).
Assessment & Goals
You can share the areas of concern, and our practitioner will advise if Botox is the right solution.
Treatment Explained
We’ll outline how Botox works, expected results (typically lasting 3–6 months), and treatment details such as dosage.
Risks & Safety
Side effects and rare risks will be explained so you can make an informed decision.
Pre-Treatment Guidance
Avoid alcohol, aspirin, and anti-inflammatory medication for 24–48 hours beforehand to minimise bruising.
Prescription Requirement
As Botox is prescription-only, treatment can only proceed following approval from our prescriber.
Aftercare
Avoid lying down, exercising, or massaging the area for 4–6 hours post-treatment. Results develop within 7–14 days.
